NEW SIGNATURE KITCHEN SUITE APPLIANCE LINE EMBARKS ON SOPHOMORE YEAR WITH NEW PRODUCTS AND INDUSTRY’S DESIGN CENTER
While it’s true you never get a second chance to make a first impression, a new luxury appliance brand is poised to make its high-profile encore just 12 months after wowing dealers, retailers and the industry with its splashy launch at KBIS 2018. Signature Kitchen Suite, the luxury appliance division of LG Electronics, begins its sophomore year with an enviable list of awards, a noteworthy lineup of industry partnerships, and a renewed commitment to continuing to respectfully disrupt the sea of sameness plaguing American kitchens today. Highlighting the brand’s 2019 additions are inspired new products and the celebrated debut of the industry’s most spectacular Experience and Design Center in the heart of Napa Valley.
The National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) released its first Kitchen Technology Awareness and Usage Report, in tandem with its endorsement of last year’s CEDIA Expo. The report recognized a need to encourage NKBA kitchen and bath designers to collaborate with technology integrators to ensure that they deliver thoughtful, well-executed projects to their clients. During CEDIA Expo in September 2018, NKBA sponsored an inaugural series of Design Connection tours that took designers on a tour of the show floor, guided by a professional technology home integrator. With smart-home technology ramping up in all areas from appliances to lighting to voice- command, NKBA feels it's imperative that these kinds of collaborations take place.
