NATIONAL SERVICE ALLIANCE The main features for small businesses of the 2.2 Trillion-dollar Care Act passed by Congress and signed in law by the President is for emergency grants and a forgivable loan program for companies from 1 to 500 or fewer employees. There are also changes to rules for expenses and deductions meant to make it easier for companies to keep employees on the payroll and stay open in the near-term. When we come out of this, and we will, we want to make sure each of you is as strong as possible, because the rebound will be incredible.

The CARES Act allocated $350 billion to help small businesses keep workers employed amid the pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, the initiative provides 100% federally guaranteed loans to small businesses.
